[Lenovo L420] Card reader does not recognise SD cards

Inserting an SD card into the system's card reader does not results in the card being mounted and displayed to the user. dmesg does not show anything regarding the sd card. This bug is a dup of bug #687993, and will be used for tracking purposes.
