trackpoint is initialized after the start of xsession

Bug Description

Binary package hint: gpointing-device-settings

I have an ssd in my laptop, so session starts quickly and wheel emulation not working, if i waiting 5 seconds before login in session, scrolling working.
I think it becouse settings try implementing for device that not yet initialized by kernel.
For me i resolve problem with configuring trackpoint through xorg.conf.d

This package has been removed from the Ubuntu development release, so I am closing all remaining open bug reports.

Sorry that we couldn't fix your problem properly, but gpointing-device-settings is dead upstream, buggy and completely unmaintained.
