Binary package hint: gnome-blog

I have 100%-repetitive problem. I just installed gnome-blog 0.9.1-3ubuntu1, and every posting in Cyrillic had been distorted in encoding on final rendered HTML. Drivel had no problem at all. Edgy Eft, Thinkpad T23, what else you need to deal with bug?

same problem with version 0.8-5ubuntu1 on Dapper
you can check at http://silpol.livejournal.com/351687.html in my LiveJournal blog - it does NOT make normal cyrillic.

In other words, while you edit text in window - it is Ok. But once it is posted - it is NOT ok.

I can't help you, but you just keep updating this report so someone will notice it sooner or later? Did you ask other "cyrillic" people if gnome-blog works for them or not?

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 alpha?

I can not reproduce this bug because of other problem with gnome-blog. Probably I have to file another bug.

yes, I can confirm that there is another problem with gnome-blog which blocks me to test posting functionality. I has submitted probelm as new bug 272034. Until that one is fixed, this can not be verified, thank you.
