Bug Description

Reinstalled 11.4 from the Ubuntu installer, but found I had to not select the check-box for proprietary stuff or it crashed during install.

It may be that the medibuntu repository does not exist for natty yet.

Was hoping to test the installer multiple times trying all the options but cannot until fixed.

Cheers,

PS installer looks great!

I guess this is caused by bug #748525: many users reported that dpkg reports an error on --configure for flashplugin-installer on the 64bit builds. As with the proprietary checkbox flash is also being installed, this is likely the cause of the problem in your case.

Yes it is a duplicate but so is the one you mention, the master bug seems to be #746758

Yes, you are right, I have marked bug #748525 as a dupe of #746758 last week, and it's got High prio as it affects most of the users and also blocks the installed when trying to install mp3/flash/et... third-party (non-free) tools, which many users want to.
