Confrim exit this bug...

3 time attends on 6.06 & 2 time attends on 6.10 produce same error/bug,
6.06 crash at 95% of installation while 6.10 crash at 97% of installation.
the HDD was partitioned & formated & files/floder been copy to it during the installation process. so there shouldn't have any problem with the hardware..

Slackware 11 & FC6 was successfull install on same hardware after that.

Thanks for your report. You seem to have your root filesystem on a disk plugged into the sixth IDE controller. Unfortunately the GRUB boot loader only supports up to four IDE controllers. This is also bug 94642.
