I got it wrong. Had to use --build-dep-resolver=internal to reproduce. Here's a fix.

The fix is to remove vr since it provides a real package which is uninstallable. Then the buildds should be able to choose the provider (r-cran-mass) of the then-pure-virtual r-cran-vr.
