software-center does not install .deb but sudo dpkg -i does

Bug Description

Binary package hint: software-center

I tried to download and install dropbox .deb with software-center. It gave me strange error message.

sudo dpkg -i aaa.deb
worked.

Same was the case with skype.

I think this is a bug.
