Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager

When connecting to a VPN, when disconnecting, nm-applet does not registered the disconnection and leaves a check next to that VPN connection. The result is that I cannot connect to another VPN without logging out of the system.

Another symptom is creating a new VPN connection does not show in the nm-applet until after logging off.

There is some amounts of delay between disconnecting or connecting a VPN. I don't think we can really easily get rid of that. However, I can confirm new VPN connections aren't immediately available, I think we should fix that.

I can second both behaviors... but VPN remaining checked after disconnect is new behavior (11.04).. with the same VPN connections I've been using over several releases where this behavior was not the case... also I don't think its a timeout issue since the VPN is disconnected according to logs...

sudo service network-manager restart fixes...
