Bug Description

Binary package hint: guayadeque

The bug occurs in Ubuntu Natty Beta 1, AMD-64, and guayadeque 0.2.7-1227.

Guayadeque results in extremely high CPU usage (70 - 100%) immediately after starting up, even when no tracks are playing. I saw some flickering in the UI which seems to suggest that for some reason, the UI is continually being refreshed. The problem occurs in both the Unity and the Ubuntu Classic sessions.
