Empathy in Ubuntu 11.04 does not have right sidebar with participants in IRC chat

When opening Empathy and joining a room in IRC the window does not have a right sidebar with the particpiants in the room.

thanks for the bug report. Please attach a screenshot of the IRC window. btw there is a resizer to on the mid-right of the chat window to show active participants in the room.

I checked again the window and you are right, Omer, the participants' window is there but it starts collapsed and the user does not know that he/she has to expand it to check the participants in the IRC chat window. This did not only happen to me but to also other participants in the chat I was participated.

So the but has to be changed to : chat window in empathy starts with participant window collapsed and has to be manually expanded. Should I open a new bug or with this one it is sufficient to hightlight this problem?

Once empathy was closed and opened again, the participant window in the chat windows was still expanded. So I don't know if the collapsed windows was something from my session or was related to the Natty update. As I said in the last comment it happened also to another participant of the chat who had updated to Natty.

This should be transformed into a paper cut bug. There is no indication in the window that the right sidebar is collapsed.

This bug affects not only IRC but all conversations with multiple participants.

That is NOT A BUG . It need to click & drag the side bar from the right side of the current window. See attachment.
