Screen starts flickering/blinking when changing desktop

Bug Description

Binary package hint: unity

I clicked the change desktop icon, and when the new desktop opened the screen started flickering or blinking very fast and the systema got unresponsive, as if the x server was about to crash. But then it came back and I haven been working without more problems. It lasted about 20 seconds.

I marked this bug as duplicate of bug 727041, since this happened to me again but now I got a message of a crash in Compiz with the error reported in that bug.

That's a bug in the nvidia driver - you should see some error messages
in dmesg about that.

That's a bug in the nvidia driver - you should see some error messages
