This affects me to. happens with wine games, skype video calls, vlc movies (not youtube videos thou).
Ubuntu 11.04 fresh install with fglrx drivers (up-to-date updartes). Classic (no-effects) interface.
Vga card Ati mobility radeon 3450, 2GB Samsung ram, Intel Celeron 64 bit processor @ 2.16GHz, fujitsu siemens V6545 laptop

Same thing here ever since I upgraded to 11.04. Only occurs when using the classic interface

I had the same problem. It only happens with the proprietary graphic drivers however. Disabling them fixes the problem (but then most games don't work).

I myself do not have this problem...
Since it has been over a year ago since the bug has occurred it's probable that it has been solved by now...
