Bug Description

Binary package hint: sun-java5-plugin

When configuring sun-java5-plugin, I get the following error message:

update-alternatives: unable to make /usr/lib/iceweasel/plugins/libjavaplugin.so.dpkg-tmp a symlink to /etc/alternatives/iceweasel-javaplugin.so: No such file or directory

There is no directory /usr/lib/iceweasel (there is a /usr/lib/mozilla-iceweasel), and there is no /etc/alternatives/iceweasel-javaplugin.so (there is a /etc/alternatives/mozilla-javaplugin.so symlink).

What's up with Iceweasel, anyway? I thought that Ubuntu was going to use the Firefox name...

I can confirm this. I guess this comes from grabbing the package from Debian without patching it to remove the IceWeasel links.
