Many songs in My Downloads can block UI

When clicking the My Downloads link in the music store after my music has already synced but not loaded into Banshee, Banshee hangs while it seems to be updating my library.

THe way the code is, this is very hard to fix, so unfortunately won't happen for 11.04 gold. But it may be possible that we can do an SRU still.

My Downloads sections seems to hang indefinitey. It was working most of this cycle. From --debug

Any suggestions? I removed all config files for banshee and ubuntuone in ~

I get this error after about 5-10 minutes of hanging.

Downgrading to libubuntuone-1.0-1_0.9.2-0ubuntu1_amd64 resolves the issue so libununtuone -r132 for bug fix https://bugs.launchpad.net/libubuntuone/+bug/663001 seemed to have introduced this.

James, do all your songs have extended characters in their titles, artists, or album names?

@Rodney, it doesn't appear so. I deleted .ubuntuone from ~ and u1 control panel synced them back to my music library. The "My Downloads" section of the store is the only feature of the store not working.

This is not the same issue as #764646.

If that is what James is seeing, then please move that discussion there. This bug is a different problem.

This is going to be a significantly larger change than I thought we could originally due to help this situation. Hopefully we can resolve it soon in 11.10 and perhaps get some backports done for the older versions.
