Bug Description

If an user created an application shortcut, placed on the Menu, before the installation of Unity 2D or 3D, these shortcuts gets improperly displayed in the Application section of Unity (in both the versions). The application shortcut now presented by the new toolbar system, simply report the name of the software but no icons assigned to it.

I also had a similar experience when I upgraded from Maverick to Natty in the pre-Alpha 1 days. But tons of Unity changes have landed since then. Can a user who has upgraded recently confirm such a behavior?

At the moment, I have re-checked the behavior on unity 3D and the problem still persist. To not mention that it's not the only odd thing that the new interface have. I have found that sometimes the icons inside the "Application" section disappear and, when it happend, the search function of unity doesn't find anything.
