Bug Description
latest rev
while trying to create a new timesheet, the following happen:
1. go to HR>my timesheets
2. select time range: date from - date to (01/03/2011 - 31/03/2011)
3. select date for recording : go to date (03/03/2011)
3. click sign in
4. Error: You can not sign in from an other date than today
If you go
3. New attendances (new line generated with the correct date - 03/03/2011)
4. modify time if needed, set action (sign in, sign out)
5. save.
OK
Bugs (or malfunctions)
1. I consider that the check on the sign in and sign out buttons are useless limitations, one should be able to select the date other than today.
2. the error message is the same for sign in and sign out buttons: You can not sign in from an other date than today
3. in English we say rather cannot, not "can not".

Your Issue number 1 is not a bug it's feature for OpenERP users.
From My Time-sheets You can not sign in or sign out from an other date than today that' why we gives a facility to fill up this from Attendance menu so it is working as expected.
And for you issue #2 and 3 I am confirming this.
