drizzle-plugin-mysql-unix-socket-protocol should put socket in same place as mysqld

Bug Description

Binary package hint: drizzle

mysql-server, which this package already conflicts with, puts the socket in /var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock

I'd suggest that this is where the plugin should put its socket file by default as well, so that programs using libmysqlclient don't have to specify the socket location.

Otherwise, the conflicts should be dropped.

Closing this bug....

In debian the socket is "/var/run/drizzle/mysql.socket"

The package also no longer conflicts against mysql-server, so both are co-installable.

Changed in drizzle (Ubuntu):
status: New → Fix Released
