Bug Description

Binary package hint: libx11-data

The file XKeysymDB is missing. This causes problems with (old) lesstif applications.

seems to affect several motif applications (like sun secure global desktop, etc.)
keyboard input is not possible in those apps
not too easy to find out the root cause (might be impossible for many users)

    Delete now-redundant XKeysymDB

    Since XStringToKeysym now supports all the vendor keysyms, just delete
    our XKeysymDB, which was incomplete at best, misleading at worst, and
    always an annoyance.

it would be trivial to add it back, but maybe there is another way to fix the apps.

I got the 'ttatcc' binary from SSGD 4.50.907, and it's accepting input on natty just fine. Thomas, what version did you use?
