My cat just sit down on keyboard when I was writing an e-mail with tables on Gmail.
My Ubuntu is outdated and my PC is old :-(
I did not notice any thing wrong.

Cat's can be tricky; /bin/cat works nicely in ubuntu, others may not.

If something crashed when your cat sat on the keyboard please reopen the bug and explain what.

Perhaps the cat actually wanted the mouse.

In any case, if you have an unexpected problem with cat, you could try "killall cat" and tell us if that fixes your problem?
