Bug Description
Binary package hint: software-center
The problem is that the display of information in software-center is ocassionally corrupted and/or inconsistent (i.e. it will render correctly after scroll down and up or rended incorrectly after scroll down and up). Here's a visual description of the bug.
Here's the first example, of incorrect rendering fixed after selecting a package:
- Launch the Ubuntu software center
- Click on "installed programs"
- Scroll down a few pages until you see a corrupted area, as shown in the following screenshot:
http://
Now click a few of the empty lines - the display refreshes itself and will show the following:
http://
Compare this with the previous screenshot - you can see that this time the display is rendered correctly.
In the second example, I will demonstrate how a correct display goes bad:
- Relaunch Ubuntu software center
- Initially the screen looks right as illustrated in the following screenshot:
http://
Scroll down a couple of pages, then scroll up, and the display goes bad:
http://
