To reproduce:
Right click on any of the applets in the gnome panel. The menu background image gradient are misaligned.

I can confirm this.
I'm on Ubuntu Natty beta 1, with "Ubuntu Classic" session chosen in GDM, FGLRX driver.

I'm going to confirm that as well. Happens on right click menus in the panel specifically.
