IDLE no longer works with Natty

Bug Description

$ dpkg -l | grep idle
ii idle 2.7.1-0ubuntu5 IDE for Python using Tkinter (default version)
ii idle-python2.6 2.6.6-6ubuntu7 An IDE for Python (v2.6) using Tkinter
ii idle-python2.7 2.7.1-5ubuntu1 An IDE for Python (v2.7) using Tkinter

When running idle, it either comes up with a corrupt window, flashing the desktop and occasionally crashing compiz, or it fails to come up at all.

Yes also on 11.04 beta 1, 64bit, compiz crashes when I try to start either idle(python2.6) and idle(python3.2).
