Bug Description
Edgy and Fiesty contain 2.4.5 which has some big improvements to the opendocument (.odt) format import/export functionality.
Would be quite useful as its current (2.4.4) odt support is rather limited (to be nice).
Note that 2.4.6 has been released upstream but is not in edgy or fiesty yet. Though it has been packaged upstream in debian unstable. But I'd rather see 2.4.5 sooner than wait for 2.4.6 to filter down as 2.4.4 is pretty bad.

Fiesty is now has a package for abiword-2.4.6.
