schroot does not read files in /etc/schroot/chroot.d/

Bug Description

Binary package hint: schroot

It just don't. When I move my configs to /etc/schroot/schroot.conf — it works.

I have the same problem:
Ubuntu 10.04.

The files inside /etc/schroot/chroot.d are ignored if they end in .conf, so remove the .conf from files in that directory.

This was "fixed" (read: documented) in 1.4.1-1 over 2 years ago. Should this be closed?
