No, I logged in yesterday. Should that make a difference?

it could be bug #726053 or similar, did you suspend your box during the night?

Nope, I didn't suspend. Box was up all night.

I'm able to confirm this -- setting the clock back to yesterday 23h and change, waiting for the day change, the calendar widget still shows the previous date.

My test netbook has been running for nearly 4 days according to uptime and has the correct date, the system has sometimes been suspend/resumed during the night and sometimes left running.

This actually appears to be bug #649800 which is about the selected date not being returned to today when the menu closes, as you can click on the various calendar days to see appointments on those days.

I suspect that the user has clicked on that day and selected it, and the menu has never been reset to "today", this bug is currently made worse by two factors;

* The menu doesn't emit the closed signal mterry added on the toplevel/root of the menu so I can't use that signal from the indicator to reset to today.

 * There is an issue with dbusmenu which means the calendar property signals aren't being handled by the indicator at all, and therefore the calendar isn't being updated.

This could also be related to a theming issue, in that the theme isn't using a distinctive colour for marking "today" vs the selected day. I'm not sure if that's at all possible?

Hmm...this could be bug 649800...I can't remember if I clicked on the date or not, but I may have.

Could it be related to bug #721572 ?

@Jacopo, no it's not bug #721572, that bug refers to the time on the clock, this bug refers to the selected date in the calendar widget.
