Bug Description

Binary package hint: unity

On an Nvidia-based dual-display desktop when a fullscreen opengl application is launched on the secondary display (it doesn't have a menu or toolbar or any of the usual UI stuff) then the application screen is shifted down by the full height of the menubar/taskbar/notificationbar such that the bottom of the opengl app is clipped.

dont' you mean the panel is not hidden when a fullscreen GL app is running? Also does the problem happen on the left display or with single display setup?

Well yes... there are two issues:
  1. the top panel is not hidden
  2. the top panel pushes the entire application down so the bottom is clipped off

I only have a dual-display setup.
  - the left display is the primary
  - the right display is the secondary

This problem is occurring on the right/secondary display.

I thing this problem is wider issue that effects the primary display as well. See screenshot.
