only difference when connected the logitech web camera:
- 10.10 32 bit server ubuntu 2.6.35-28 generic-pae
- 10.10 64bit desktop-ubuntu 2.6.35-28 generic (error)

II discovered that unplugging the USB keyboard works the camera.

The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the stable release - Oneiric Ocelot.
