Bug Description

'Additional drivers' (jockey-gtk) appears to base it's identification of the currently active driver on the contents of xorg.conf.

Try this:
* Start additional drivers; install nvidia driver; reboot; verify 3D works
* Start additional drivers; note that nvidia is marked 'activated and currently in use'
* Edit /etc/X11/xorg.conf and comment out the driver line (proposed fix to Bug 522061)
* Start additional drivers (logging out not necessary). It now reports regarding nvidia: "A different version of this driver is in use"

The option to 'Activate' is enabled. Activating then causes xorg.conf to be updated with a 'Driver' line, reintroducing Bug 522061. I.e. jockey determines what video driver is loaded by reading xorg.conf, rather than e.g. looking at what kernel modules are loaded.
