page too long

Binary package hint: simple-scan

Even after choosing the page-size as A4, the saved page is too long, much longer than the default height for an A4. I expected it to automatically crop the page to the size of an A4 but instead it looks like an A4 stretched to 1.5 its height.

I can only get the page to a size similar to A4 if I use the crop tool.
