Upon boot, every time the meta (Alt) key is pressed. This happened before, after a few crashes (and compiz restarting), the crashes cease.

Hey Timothy, thanks for reporting this bug and help to make ubuntu better.

However, so that your tools can retrace and give enough information to the developer, uploading the crash file directly isn't succifient. It's better to trigger: ubuntu-bug -c /path/to/the/crash_file.

Can you please do that in a new bug? (putting this one as incomplete)
