Bug Description

Binary package hint: desktopcouch

Crashed on login on Ubuntu 11.04 Development branch

Need to retest this, but I believe this was because there was no network connection. I got the same error from indicator-weather (Bug 741849)

with gaierror in create_connection(): [Errno -2] Name or service not known

This should probably be assigned to whatever package creates the connection.

Verified that this re-occurs on login, when wifi is disabled, i.e desktop-couch crashes if it starts without a network connection.

This not repeatable on a fresh install. It seems that that it depends on some services that desktop-couch, maybe in some particular manner. I am logged into the ubuntu-one normally. If you're not able to repeat this, try logging in to ubuntu one and installing indicator-weather. I get apport crashes for both indicator-weather and desktop-couch, so I do not believe that the problem is with indicator-weather only.

If you don't get anything useful from the traceback, feel free to close this.
