Bug Description

I installed Drapes 0.4.97 on Edgy, fiddled with the preferences and checked the box for monitoring a folder. The default is the root folder and after this point, Drapes stopped responding. Now when I start Drapes, (I think) it starts scanning my entire file system for new pictures. As a result, the Drapes icon never appears in the system tray (so I can't change the option that way), and I can't seem to find an options file to turn this behaviour off manually. Maybe the user's home directory would be a more sensible choice for the default?

Keep up the good work!
