Bug Description

Binary package hint: indicator-datetime

indicator-datetime 0.1.98-0ubuntu1, Ubuntu Natty

1. From the clock menu, choose "Time & Date Settings..."
2. Click "Unlock to change these settings".
3. In the "Location" field, enter "kolkata".
4. Change the text to "calcutta".

What happens:
3. "Calcutta (Bengal, India)" appears as the first suggestion.
4. No suggestions are given at all.

What should happen:
3. "Kolkata (Bengal, India)" appears as the first suggestion.
4. "Kolkata (Bengal, India)" appears as the first suggestion.

I can't reproduce issues with step 4 (assuming you made a typo in your expected event for step 4? entering "calcutta" for me gives me "Calcutta (Bengal, India) as the first suggestion).

I do see step 3 though. This is from the geonames server and affects ubiquity too.

Note that using geonames.org gives correct value for "kolkata". And gives Kolkata for "calcutta" so maybe your expected text for step 4 was not a typo.

The results I was getting for all searches were intermittent, so maybe I didn't reproduce this one often enough.
