In Location field, "Kolkata" returns "Calcutta" but "Calcutta" does not

Bug Description
Binary package hint: indicator-datetime
indicator-datetime 0.1.98-0ubuntu1, Ubuntu Natty
1. From the clock menu, choose "Time & Date Settings..."
2. Click "Unlock to change these settings".
3. In the "Location" field, enter "kolkata".
4. Change the text to "calcutta".
What happens:
3. "Calcutta (Bengal, India)" appears as the first suggestion.
4. No suggestions are given at all.
What should happen:
3. "Kolkata (Bengal, India)" appears as the first suggestion.
4. "Kolkata (Bengal, India)" appears as the first suggestion.

I can't reproduce issues with step 4 (assuming you made a typo in your expected event for step 4? entering "calcutta" for me gives me "Calcutta (Bengal, India) as the first suggestion).
I do see step 3 though. This is from the geonames server and affects ubiquity too.
