maximized windows aren't in the correct position

Bug Description

Occasionally opening up a program that was previously in a maximized state. The program will open in the maximized state (the title bar is integrated in the top panel) but the windows position is incorrect ( ccsm opened about 10 pixels high and the tabs overlapped with the top panel, shotwell opened about 10 pixels too low and left an open area. Un-maximizing and maximizing usually fixed this.

Using Ubuntu 11.04 alpha 3 (fully updated 21 March 2011)
Msi Wind u120 netbook (1024x600)

could you attach a example screenshot? Sounds related to a compiz bug.
