Bug Description

Binary package hint: kubuntu-default-settings

Since 10.04 we have the "kubuntu" plymouth logo. and its good. but it would be better if there are a releasename shown. If i ask anyone which Version of ubuntu that is, he dont know "its kubuntu". but then we have to ask the Terminal. when there are a releasename on the boot-up screen he will know the Version "its Kubuntu natty narwahl". and it looks good, if there are more than "kubuntu" on it.
Its a bad pic but look: http://i.imgur.com/XCzgu.png thats it. i removed the blur and the logo (dont look good)

Not a compelling rationale to put the name there. Especially not the name as that refers to a series not a release! Release version maybe, but then again that is worthless information except for the case you highlighted + it would require redoing the artwork all the time.
