Launcher "jumpy" icon notifications are not clickable

When I call ubuntu-bug, it open a web browser, so a notification occur in the docs, but if I click on it when it occur, nothing happen. Also it really get to hide back quickly.

It would be nice to have a few second to click on it when it occur.

Hello again Moc! Thank you for the feedback. The Ayatana work has generally been moving towards /passive/ notification methods so that the notification does not interrupt your workflow. However, I frequently find myself trying to click on the bouncy/jumpy half-icon when an application is notifying me, so it would perhaps be better to pass this along to some other people on the Design Team for their thoughts.

I'm marked it as affecting 'ayatana-design'.

Please confirm this. We need to remove the jump-notification. Instead,
when the launcher is hidden and an alert occurs, we need to signal that
through the BFB in the top left, with or without the app icon.

Yikes. This needs to be thought about very carefully. It matters a great deal which application is calling for attention. I suppose the messaging indicator alleviates a great bit of the worry I have about this though, as those are the applications I'm thinking of when this makes me nervous.

this feature has been removed from latest unity as it caused many such issues. closing this bug
