No digital output in live session (Natty alpha3)

The problem is that the driver on the live CD enables
only analog output where digital output remains disabled.

Workaround would be to get the analog cable to be able to install and
update the driver. I had to do the same already with Maverick installation.

My graphic card is Nvidia GT250.

1) Natty alpha 3
3) See the output xD both analog and digital outputs should be active
4) only analog output is active

This is not likely to specific to the Live CD rather an issue with xorg.

Hey danizmax,

You filed this bug report against natty, but I see it's still open and
doesn't appear to have much activity recently. So, now that oneiric
is released and stable, this may be a good point for you to upgrade
and re-test if this issue is still present there.

If it's solved in the new release and you think it's worth backporting
the fix, please indicate that. Or if having the fix in the new release
is good enough, feel free to close out the bug (or let us know and we'll
close it.)

If it's not solved, leave the bug report open. I can't promise we'll
get to it (we get way more bugs filed than we can usually get to), but
your testing and feedback can help out if and when we do.

I actually didn't know I could do that... thanks for the info...

I've tested again in oneiric and the bug is still there, so I'll leave it open.

I think this bug is important because it prevents regular (unskilled) users from installing Ubuntu and it's a door to potential new Ubuntu users. I remember reporting similar bug from 3 releases or more back, so IMHO this bug is overdue to be fixed.
