Bug Description

Binary package hint: unity

With recent update of unity, if I select the Ubuntu Menu or select "Applications" or "Files" from unity, the X session freezes the image where the mouse can be moved, but no more actions can be triggered. Switching to console and back to X, shows the mouse on top of the console instead of the X session.

I need to kill X and relogin again.

update: it's a problem with unity and compiz. killing compiz restores the screen again, but no unity or window decorations.

Ok, funny thing because after getting last directions, I updated my system and was not able to reproduce it anymore. Now I updated once more and rebooted and the issue is back .... anyways, here is the log. All I've done was hitting "windows" key shortly, so that the dash should appear.
I'm running 3.6.8-0ubuntu3 with the dbgsym for unity, and compiz. No dbgsym for nux found.
