Bug Description
I have been unable to install Ubuntu (breezy, dapper or edgy) on my hp/compaq presario V5000. Also the Breezy Live CD I have seems to fail for the same reason.
After I start the install it hangs up with a screen that reads:
[17179570.824000] PCI: Cannot allocate resource region 7 of bridge 0000:00:1c.0
[17179570.824000] PCI: Cannot allocate resource region 8 of bridge 0000:00:1c.0
[17179570.824000] PCI: Cannot allocate resource region 7 of bridge 0000:00:1c.1
[17179570.824000] PCI: Cannot allocate resource region 8 of bridge 0000:00:1c.1
[17179570.824000] PCI: Cannot allocate resource region 7 of bridge 0000:00:1c.2
[17179570.824000] PCI: Cannot allocate resource region 8 of bridge 0000:00:1c.2
[17179570.824000] PCI: Cannot allocate resource region 0 of device 0000:00:00.0
Where do i go from here? any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks, brandon
