I find this annoying because there is no way to retrieve the SMPlayer windowbar.

Eric: as a work-around, you should be able to Alt-drag in the centre of the window and move the whole window downwards.
I think this might be a dup of another bug where repeated maximising and unmaximising gradually walks the window rightwards across the screen aswell (and eventually off the edge of the screen), but I can't find that.
