Bug Description
I am using 10.04 64bit.
running 32bit live cd does not present the problem:
there is a momentary hang when maximizing windows
i also describe this bug in Bug #588982
entering the CLI text found here for disabling compiz causes problem to go away:
http://
/usr/bin/metacity --replace &
assuming problem is only in 64bit, and maximizing is the only one i have found a problem with.
looking for more permanent method of disabling.
CB.

Examining the information you have given us, this does not appear to be a bug report so we are closing it and converting it to a question in the support tracker. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but it would make more sense to raise problems you are having in the support tracker at https:/ /answers. launchpad. net/ubuntu if you are uncertain if they are bugs.
