Bug Description

Binary package hint: source-highlight

When running source-highlight, the following shows up:

source-highlight: error while loading shared libraries: libicudata.so.38: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

It seems that Lucid is shipped with libicu42

Thanks for reporting this bug.

I can't reproduce this on a lucid instance, so I will mark this fix released.

Problem is still happening.
You should be able to reproduce the problem as following:
echo "int x;"|source-highlight

I get the reported error when doing so.

The problem is clearly that source-highlight was linked against libicudata.so.38, whereas the installed version in lucid seems to be 42.

The fix shold just be to recompile and relink source-highlight with the installed library version.

It works in quantal right now, so marking the main part of this bug Fix Released. But I opened a new task in this bug for the Lucid part.
