multiple notifications when you copy and paste

In the latest stable version of Inkscape, when you copy an element (eg a rectangle) with control + c, and then paste, it appear multiple notifications after every 3-5 seconds with the message "This extension requires at least one non empty layer.".

Yes, I have in the background "Jdownloader".

Confirmed.

Stable Inkscape 0.48.4, compiled in Debian Squeezy.

1. Run inkscape.
2. Draw square (any shape)
3. Select it
4. Press Ctrl+C
5. Inkscape show window "PostScript - Postscript Level 3", next show window with message "This extension requires at least one non empty layer."

The item 5 - is nag bug.

workaround: After the first alert pops up, before dismissing it, press Alt+F2 and type xclip -selection clipboard blank

This way you don't have to completely shut down inkscape to solve the problem

This bug still exists, even in the 0.49 daily release. It happens when I'm using jdownloader, makes using it and Inkscape simultaneously nearly impossible.
