Bug Description

Binary package hint: kpackagekit

KPackageKit doesn't seem to correctly validate input in the comment field for a software source. Entering a comment with a "strange" character (an accented letter, etc.) makes the source dissapear from the list.

affects: kpackagekit (Ubuntu) → software-properties (Ubuntu)

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Please answer these questions:

* Is this reproducible?
* If so, what specific steps should we take to recreate this bug?

This will help us to find and resolve the problem.

I have tried reproducing on Precise by adding hungarian accented letters to source comments, but they did not disappear at all, could you please list some characters you have see to cause this and the PPAs you have tested this with.
