Binary package hint: transmission

Download speed should be shown as a Unity Launcher indicator, it would be handy.

I don't think it's possible to do that with the current Unity API. But yes, we should investigate further how can we integrate Transmission with the launcher. It should be easy to use quicklists, we could use the progress bar once Transmission implements download queue. Emblem could be used to indicate the "turtle mode". I'll start working on it in the next cycle.

 None of the Transmission developers are running Unity, but I'd be happy to take patches for this like we did with app indicator support.

Hey, I think it should work like firefox plugin, just show progress and also number of downloading items, it must be consistent

@satchitb: Its not actually a fix though, its only a script for integrating Transmission with Unity Launcher, which does no changes to the source code.
