Thanks for your report, could you run brasero from the command line as: brasero --brasero-burn-debug --debug &> brasero-debug.txt perform the operation to reproduce the bug and attach the resulting file to the report? Is it reproducible on Natty? Thanks in advance

Hi,

I have taken the time and material (an empty DVD-R ;)) to invest the current issue as requested from Pedro on a brand new Asus BW-12D1S-U.

The command :'brasero --brasero-burn-debug --debug &> brasero-debug.txt' didn't work and I assume that might be the reason for no response from the initial poster here.

However the command: 'brasero --brasero-burn-debug &> brasero-debug.txt' did work and I will attache three files:

- brasero-debug.txt
- brasero-session.log
- screenshot of UI state.

cheers,
cue

Hi nosferatu2011,

I cannot see why this bug shall be a duplicate of https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/345678.
The bug mentioned has been fixed already in 2009 and I have that issue since 2 Month on Ubuntu 10.4.
Before I was successfully burning on another drive. It only happens on the new USB3 drive, while the new drive works fine on windows on the same mashine.

If launchpad isn't the right issue tracker to escalate this bug, please let me know where I can do so.

all the best,
cue
