Bug Description

Binary package hint: empathy

Whenever I launch Empathy and it attempts to connect I get a dialog which states the certificate is invalid and asking me to confirm or cancel (see srceenshot). Then I check the box "remember my decision" and click on continue. The next time I launch Empathy the same message will be shown again. Ticking the checkbox didn't have any result.

From what I can tell, the linked workaround works for facebook, but not for self-signed certificates hosted on chat-only servers. I am not aware of a way to get our certificate into Firefox to be able to export it.
