Bug Description
(Inkscape 0.48.1, Windows XP)
Steps to reproduce bug:
1) Type "12"
2) Select "12", click "subscript". "12" gets subscripted (correct)
3) Select "1", choose a different font. The "1" is shifted further down (wrong).
Same behaviour (with shifting up) for superscripting.

Reproduced with Inkscape 0.48+devel r10082 on OS X 10.5.8 (i386)
Can be worked around by clicking on the sub/super-script toggle again with the differently styled text part still highlight.
