Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

Fails with error while "Setting up ubuntu-desktop (1.30) ...":

Could not install the upgrades

The upgrade aborts now. Your system could be in an unusable state. A recovery was run (dpkg --configure -a).

Please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include the files in /var/log/dist-upgrade/ in the bugreport.

Confirming, as the bug seems to have all normally requested log files.

I note this in them:

dapper2edgy no longer supported. Closing as wontfix. Please open a new report if you are still affected by something similar in a later release.
