My father has reported (in a not very coherent way) that after a recent update (presumably security fix for libTIFF?) he is also getting errors with some, but not all, TIFF images downloaded in the past from a genealogy site.
Hopefully this will be fixed soon, but if not I can get and post an example image in the near future.
